Brulen (Bruce Bierman, also known as 'Bru') was a young self-taught poly instrumentalist mentored by the great John Lennon beginning when he was just seventeen.
Brulen sings, plays piano, and bass, rhythm and lead guitars as well as being a Lennon-trained and autodidactic songwriter.
Brulen also writes and plays the production parts --- including strings, horns and orchestral arrangements. Brulen produces all his recordings.
Also, as a former sound engineer, Brulen records, mixes and masters everything you hear... except for featured guests as seen in the credits.
Ross Valory, co-founder and former bass player for the music group Journey performed on some of BRULEN's tracks.
The prolific bass parts of Valory can be heard on the songs "Valentine", "What Am I To Do", "Love Is Near", and "Shame On You!"

Prince is a member of The Tubes and was a founding member of Journey along with Neal Schon and Gregg Rolie.
He worked with Chris Isaak, Todd Rundgren, Brian Eno, David Byrne, XTC, Tom Waits, Paul Kantner, George Harrison, Dick Dale, Glenn Frey, Richard Marx, Bill Spooner, Neil Hamburger, John Fogerty, Nicky Hopkins, Tommy Bolin, Phil Lesh, John Ferenzik, Singer at Large Johnny J. Blair, and former Tubes and Grateful Dead keyboardist Vince Welnick.
Eric Levy is the keyboardist for the band Night Ranger.
His magnificent keyboard and synth playing can be heard on BRULEN songs "Shame On You" and "Love Is Near", along with Ross Valory and Prairie Prince.
Joe is a multi-faceted studio musician guitarist, drummer is the drummer and producer known for his work on Pink Floyd "The Wall", Jersey Boys, Charo, film work, and many others lucky enough to be blessed with his talent!
Joe performs scintillating guitar on five BRULEN tracks including: "We Are All The Same", "Little Bird", Love In A Dream", "Shame On You", and "Love Is Near".
In memoriam, Jeremy passed away on December 14, 2021 from stage 4 lung cancer. Everyone loved him.
Jeremy had earned a doctorate in music.
He taught and performed, and played both classical guitar and popular music. Jeremy had played in major venues across the USA.
His smooth slide guitar playing can be heard on BRULEN song "The Ballad Of John", plus other rock solid guitar work on "True Blue", along with Joe DiBlasi.
